Smart Hospital Nurse Call System

Instant, reliable staff alerting for every clinical environment

Smart G4 nurse call systems connect patients, clinical staff, and hospital management in real time — with priority-based alerting, staff location tracking, and full integration with the hospital BMS and GRMS platforms.

Why Nurse Call Matters

A nurse call system is the lifeline between patients and clinical staff. Smart G4 goes beyond a simple call button — delivering intelligent alerting with escalation logic, staff acknowledgement tracking, response time analytics, and seamless integration with room control and BMS systems.

Call Types

Six Priority Levels

Every call type has its own priority, escalation path, and visual indicator — so staff always know what needs attention first.

Patient Call

Standard bedside call button — patient requests assistance. Displayed at nurse station and on corridor light.

Emergency Call

High-priority emergency alert — triggers immediate escalation to all available staff and activates corridor emergency light.

Toilet / Bathroom Call

Pull-cord or button in bathroom — patient requires assistance. Separate priority queue from bedside calls.

Staff Assist Call

Staff-to-staff call — clinical staff requests colleague assistance without leaving the patient.

Code Blue

Cardiac arrest or critical emergency — triggers hospital-wide alert, activates all available staff in the zone.

Duty Call

Routine duty call — staff notified of scheduled tasks, medication rounds, or patient monitoring reminders.

System Features

Beyond a Simple Call Button

Priority-Based Escalation

Calls are automatically escalated if not acknowledged within a configurable time — from bedside panel to nurse station to ward manager.

Staff Location Display

Corridor dome lights and zone displays show which rooms have active calls, staff presence, and call priority at a glance.

Response Time Analytics

Full audit trail of every call — time raised, time acknowledged, staff who responded, and resolution time. Exportable for compliance reporting.

BMS & GRMS Integration

Nurse call status feeds directly into the room BMS — triggering lighting changes, door unlock, and HVAC adjustments on call activation.

Wireless Staff Badges

Optional wireless staff badges allow automatic call assignment to the nearest available staff member and track staff location across the ward.

Touchless Call Options

Infrared proximity sensors and voice-activated call options for patients with limited mobility — no physical button press required.
