The G4 RCU sits at the heart of every hotel room, orchestrating DND/MUR, HVAC, lighting, curtains, card key, and PMS communication from a single compact controller.
What the RCU Controls
One controller. Every room system. Fully integrated on the sBUS G4 open protocol.
DND / MUR Signalling
Do Not Disturb and Make Up Room signals are managed directly by the RCU, with LED corridor indicators and real-time status to housekeeping and front desk.
HVAC & Climate Control
The RCU interfaces with fan coil units, VRF systems, and thermostats via sBUS, Modbus, or 0-10V — maintaining guest comfort while optimising energy use.
Lighting & Dimming
Controls all room lighting zones including bedside, bathroom, desk, and entrance. Supports dimming, RGB LED, and pre-programmed mood scenes.
Curtain & Blind Control
Motorised curtains, drapes, and blackout blinds are integrated directly — triggered by scenes, schedules, or guest panel commands.
Card Key & Access
Energy cut-off on card removal, welcome scene on card insertion, and integration with major hotel lock systems including RFID and biometric.
PMS Integration
The RCU communicates with Property Management Systems via RS-232, TCP/IP, or Modbus — enabling check-in/check-out automation, room status, and energy reporting.
